hopefully w/ the transmission fixed, it will be almost as good as new. Next stop: change glow plugs and rebuilt starter. Then it will be new, except chassis and inside lol.

thanks for checking - the fuel (diesel) filter housing was cracked. We replaced that plus the hoses and it seems to have more power and so far (driving it about 90 miles since repair, with 7500 lbs trailer on it) it's been doing good. Need to get pressure switch inside transmission done next week (good thing I have lifetime warranty on that tranny :-D
