A BIG CONGRATS on 500 consecutive days! Awesome! Wow, another 100 days have passed again, already! : ) For some it seems pretty easy to come back each day! But for most GBs they don't seem to have the dedication or the persistence it takes to come back and post gas prices each day for other GBs! Or they just run out of gas! :( Hang onto your speed lines, it only takes one day to lose them! I'm sure you know! But even clicking on news articles links, which are the easiest points here on GasBuddy, when you can't or didn't post gas prices before midnight will save your consecutive days! : ) WARNING! Every day GBs lose their consecutive days for many reasons, many with big numbers, the #1 reason, "oops, I just forgot!" :( If you ever lose your consecutive days; that is NO FAULT of your own, please contact the mods! Yesterday, ImCheapinNJ reported on CobraLeader's Whiteboard, that CobraLeader passed away on 12/11/10! I know it's been a long time since anyone has heard from CobraLeader, many GBs have been wondering what had happened to CobraLeader! :( He had more than 5,000 buddies on his buddy list and many more GBs knew of his presence here in GasBuddyland! We'll miss our buddy CobraLeader, but he'll always have GasBuddies that will remember him for being here! May CL R.I.P. : )

A large number of consecutive days are nice if you can hang onto them! I realize many GBs do have different situations. Some seem to never have any difficulties and get large numbers, but some seem to have more of their share in life! Those with smart phones seem to be able to post everyday now! But you're right about the mods, it seems 3 times is the max, 3 lifelines, that's it! :( After that, you're on your own! If we go back to the bottom, all we can do is start over and keep going unto we retire from GB! Of course, the real reason we are all here is to post gas prices for others where we all reap the benefits as we search for the cheapest gas prices ourselves! I will be here as long as the Good Lord allows me to regardless of how many times I have to start over on my consecutive days! Now that I'm retired, I can come to the site many times each day, until I get busy doing the other things I need to get done! : ) Whatever happens, keep going like a Detroit PRO GasBuddy! Thanks!
