Gasoline consumption up in hard hit Iran

GasBuddy Blog -- Iran’s gasoline consumption rose by one billion liters (265 million gallons or 6.3 million barrels) during the first ten months of current Iranian calendar year, began 20 March 2012, in comparison to the corresponding period last year, according to Iran's Oil Ministry.

Managing director of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC), Mostafa Kashkouli, made the remarks adding during the period, daily gasoline consumption stood at 63.2 million liters per day, up by 5.8 percent against similar period last year.

He further noted that gasoil consumption hit 96 million liters per day on average during the first ten months of current year, up by 1.4 percent against similar period last year.

Let them import ethanol from Brazil sugar cane is really needed and require 1 pump(regular or midgrade be no ethanol)..www.pure-gas.org...Buy you gas with no ethanol so your corn flakes and tacos will reduce in price!

Are the Iranian sanctions working or not? Strange article! Is it mostly Military fuel use Only, for the gasoline consumption? Drive vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high!
