New Cars With The Highest Theft Rates? Dodge? Whom in their right mind would bother with a Dodge? This shows you what kind of mpg these guys are looking for – not very much! There are much better cars to steal than some of the vehicles listed in this report. The vehicle I drive, most people do not ever look that way. My current vehicle was paid off many years ago and I don't need any car payments now! I will drive my current vehicle into the ground before buying anything new, used, EV, Inbred, diesel, hydrogen, alternative fuel, CNG, concept and certainly not a Prius, Tesla, Leaf, Volt or an NYC/Sandy Special 'exploding submarine' Fiskar Karma Inbred! Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, vehicle manufactures Produce and the population ‘Drives’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! XII/XXII/MMXII!

The affordable cars were more likely to be parked in less secure areas when compared to the parking for luxury or upscale cars.

Cost of crash parts drives this, with all the cars from North East going to be junked should help the situation for a short time.

Pinch the pinchers. Such tolerance of theft as a normal thing does not help stop it.
Exodus 20:2 Thou shalt not steal.
Leviticus 19:11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
Exodus 22:2 If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.

Perhaps the rate would drop if the punishment for offenders was more severe.
