up, down, down, up. General trend: still higher prices. Would love to see equivalency to when the barrel was $60 and we paid about $1.50 / gal.

50% of the gas price articles are about gas prices going up in 2013, the other 50% of the articles are about gas prices going down in 2013.

2 cent reduction from a 3.00+ price is a "dip"?
That amount is less than 1% - .0066 to be more precise.
Howinell can that small amount even be thought of as a "dip"?
Talk about exaggerating!

2c drop = nothing to celebrate . Make it 20c & it would make a difference. But wait for Gov. "Cadillac " Deval Patrick`s State of the State address ,where he will surely raise taxes again .

The way the prices have roller-coasted the past few years is part of what keeps the economy down. If we could be sure that the price of our fuel would remain steady we would be able to do more with the money we have. But with the threat of it rising to $4 for any reason or no reason consumers hold their wallets close to their chest. We have to be able to get to work to pay for the fuel and other necessities. PRICE CONTROL sounds really attractive to me.
