Snyder already rich in oil history — and that's before Cline Shale

Reporter News -- SNYDER — When you open the Development Corporation of Snyder’s website, you will be greeted with an instantly recognizable tune from the 1960s popular sitcom, “The Beverly Hillbillies.”

Of course, who doesn’t know the story of Jed Clampett’s oil-filled swamp that made him millions of dollars, making it possible for him to move his family to “Californy.”

Boom to Bust is common place where there is a lot of economic activity. I came from a coal mining town and many years ago there was a town near each coal mine.

Pardon my ignorance of geography, but not this article, not even the website it's on says anything about where this Snyder is located, I mean, what state it's in. Without additional research, I don't think the average person would know. Unless he's from Snyder, or maybe Arkansas (Jed Clampett), Texas (some town names I recognize), or Oklahoma (OKC is mentioned, or even maybe some other oil-producing state.

He better enjoy it now, because when Obama and his posse agenda takes place, he will be paying billions
In fees, licensings etc. along with other private owners and investors. If they want to stay in the game.
