U.S. Petroleum Demand at Lowest Level in 16 Years

CSPnet.com -- WASHINGTON -- Total U.S. petroleum demand dropped 2.0% in 2012 compared with 2011, reaching the lowest annual level in 16 years, according to the American Petroleum Institute. Total U.S. petroleum deliveries also were down 2.1% in December against a year ago. Year-over-year declines were seen in all months in 2012 except for May, API reported.

My teenagers take turns carpooling with friends and all throwing in on the gas! In my day, if you had a car, you drove it everywhere. Different mind set today. A good thing.
