If Wyoming had a job for every bloviating poster in GasBuddy..... they could export them and bring the country to full employment overnight... (grin)

In plain english..... the "frisbie" of a study (twilight zone reference) claims that 17.8K exist now -- created or supported.
That leaves only about 5K in future growth of jobs.....
AND that is assuming that U.S. Chamber of Commerce ever is truthful......

Aviator asks"Does anyone else here think that 24,000 jobs doesn't sound like a whole lot? I mean, I know that Wyoming has less than 600,000 people in the entire state but seriously, only 24,000 jobs created by 2020??? =================== Well Rob, that's 24,000 thousand jobs in one state alone and despite O'Bungler's efforts to slow oil and gas production.

I still think they counted the folks in Wyoming who use natural gas.

Wyoming shale gas to support 23K jobs by 2020! Mining the earth's natural resources (crude oil and natural gas) will help the US economy recover much to the dismay and disappointment of 'spending gone wild' Sneeky. Private enterprise will supply jobs faster than the government can or will AND without huge needless federal waste money spending. 'Coming out of the closet' Sneeky's lousy, smoke and mirrors, lack of jobs, dog and pony show and in the crapper economy, the jobs are Not here. Sneeky's economy is not improving but continues to hurt the population and the total job numbers continue to be down! The US ‘oil and natural gas resources’ belong to the citizens of this country and are to be used by those same citizens! These resources are Not to be exported without taking care of the domestic market first. But Big Oil and Big Gas will sell fuel and natural gas on the world market for higher prices through the Gulf Coast refineries. Big Gas transports the natural gas to the refineries, processes it, loads it onto tankers for the sale to other countries. More natural gas horizontal drilling, more rock and subsurface fracking and more possible pollution to the underground water resources. Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, vehicle manufactures Produce and the population ‘Drives’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! XII/XXII/MMXII! - The Day After......

And where are all the "green jobs" that obama promised us? He spent billions of our tax dollars to create these ghost jobs. And the news media is totally silent on this subject. Do you ever get the feeling that we are not living in a free country anymore?

No, 24,000 jobs is not a whole lot for an entire section of the country. And that is in 8 years? Many of these jobs will be temporary I'm sure.

We've heard about all kinds of jobs ........... in the year 2525.. we're going to see this and that. In the year 2535.... we're going to have this and that. I think there was a song in the late 60's saying the same thing. Promises... Promises.

President Obama isn't happy with these new jobs. His plan is to make more people just give up trying to find a job. That accounts for most of the drop in the unemployment rate in his administration.

The EPA will find a way to stop them. I wish the "regulatory agencies" has to send their junk to be voted on in Congress. Put the folks on the record for this stuff...
